How to open an online store in Egypt
Three decisions get you 80% of the way: pick a platform, connect a payment gateway, and connect a courier. Everything else — theme, product photos, invoice copy — can iterate later.
Do it on numu, step by step

Platform: pick one that is Arabic-first from day one (RTL, right-aligned forms, Arabic-Indic digits in checkout). Retrofitting Arabic on Shopify works but costs hours per week in template fixes.
Payments: cash on delivery for the 60–90% of shoppers who will refuse to enter card details online, plus one online option — Paymob for cards and Apple Pay, or Fawry for cash at outlets.
Shipping: Bosta, Mylerz or J&T for governorate rates and tracking — or your own courier on a platform-issued waybill. Skip manual waybill PDFs — pick a platform with API-level waybill generation.
